Take the Stress out of Wedding Venue Searching With Careful Planning

Published by:

Many who have never been engaged or married probably consider finding a husband or wife the hardest part. Turns out, compared to wedding planning that’s a walk in the park. Planning a wedding requires many complicated steps and integral planning. It’s important to break it all down and tackle one aspect at a time. First and foremost, the first step in planning a wedding should be choosing the venue. That’s because all of the other aspects from decorations to the guest list size stems from where the wedding will be held.

New York City is one of the most magical places to get married, no matter what the time of year. There are thousands of options available that appeal to a wide variety of brides or grooms. It can almost be an overwhelming amount so many people wonder how to choose.

The first step of planning a wedding is to draft a budget. You’ll need to decide what’s the most you can spend. This will greatly narrow down your search. Next up, you’ll want to decide on the location. Perhaps you have always dreamed of getting married in a certain area or maybe you want to choose where your family is close by. While doing all this research, having a book or a chart is key. That way you can keep track of all of the pros and cons of each venue. You can also make notes of what dates are available.

When traveling to each venue to scope it out, you’ll want to make sure that you’re asking the right questions and keeping track of the answers. A few things you’ll want to find out are price, maximum capacity, layout, restrictions, and more. These will have a direct effect on whether or not you decide that a wedding venue is perfect for you. One can look absolutely breathtaking but it might not be able to accumulate all your desired guests. Therefore, it’s not the right fit for you.

Choosing a wedding venue doesn’t have to be stressful as long as you do your research. Think of it as a magical first step to a lifetime of happiness.

Fabletics Contributing to the Growing Athleisure Industry

Published by:

Taking on significant e-commerce retailers like Amazon is not an easy thing to achieve, but that is what Fabletics has been able to accomplish in a short period of its existence. Fabletics started its business in the year 2013 and since then has grown at a massive pace to give its competitors in the athleisure market, including Amazon, a tough time.

The turnover of Fabletics has risen to near $300 million in just a couple of years, and as per the current standing in the market, it is a figure that is expected to grow massively in the years to come. It is primarily because Fabletics comes up with new and modern collections regularly that aligns well with the customers’ preferences and requirements.

Fabletics specializes in providing high-quality athleisure products for women and offers it in the range of sizes, starting from XXS to 3XL. It makes it easier for women of all sizes to shop online at Fabletics without having to worry whether they would be able to get apparels of their size or not. Kate Hudson, who is a well-known actress in Hollywood, is also the co-owner of Fabletics.

She has played a vital role in the rise of Fabletics even after facing fierce competition from other companies. One of the things that have helped Fabletics stay afloat in such colossal competition is the company’s focus on using Big Data technology. Kate Hudson personally looks into the sales figure data each week to see which products are doing well and which aren’t. It helps the company to take down the products that are not being liked by the customers and replace it with the ones that are getting popular.

Kate Hudson says that in the age of social media, it is crucial for companies to listen to what the customers have to say about the brand. It is why Fabletics has a dedicated customer support to take feedback from the customers and provide solutions to the customers who are facing any issues with their orders or have any grievances.

The companies should not forget the customers’ right after the sales as only the companies that can successfully provide post-sale services would win the hearts of the customers. Fabletics has been growing steadily since it was launched because Kate Hudson and her partners continue to look for new opportunities in the fashion world. They are updated with the latest in fashion business to ensure customers always get the best product at reasonable prices.

Tempus and Eric Lefkofsky Lead the Way with Data Enabled Precision Medicine

Published by:

It is an unfortunate fact of life that nearly 40% of adults in the United States will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. The National Cancer Institute reports that in 2014 there were over 14 million people in the United States living with cancer. This number is expected to increase yearly. But thanks to the advances of companies like Tempus, the outlook for these patients have never been better.

Tempus, co-founded by Eric Lefkofsky, is a leading innovator in the area of data enabled precision medicine. Lefkosky and his wife lived through a cancer scare of their own when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was at this time that Eric Lefkofsky learned of the gaps existing in the cancer treatment field in regards to data collection and digital technology. He would learn that despite the large amount of data collected about patients that there had never been an effort at developing a streamlined and effected way to make use of this data. This fact was the catalyst behind the creation of Tempus.

Tempus began operations with the goal of changing the way cancer care is delivered. The company has developed software that successfully analyzes a patient’s clinical and molecular data. In regards to molecular data, Tempus has used recent technological advances to greatly decrease the cost of gathering genomic information through genomic sequencing.

Eric Lefkofsky’s road to becoming co-founder of Tempus is a quite interesting one. A native of Southfield, Michigan, Lefkofsky graduated from the University of Michigan with high honors in 1991. Lefkofsky would go on to earn his juris doctor degree two years later from the University of Michigan Law School. But despite his academic background, Lefkofsky decided to forego a career in law after becoming enamored in the dot.com revolution where he quickly became a power player.

In addition to his work at Tempus, Eric Lefkofsky also serves on the board of directors at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, and is the chairman of the board of trustees Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Lefkofsky has also held teaching positions at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and at Northwestern University’s Kellogg school of Management.
